your English guide to latin dancing and parties all across Korea
I've got this coming Saturday off from where I work and I'm planning on coming to Seoul for Bachata Night at Bahia on Friday. Would anybody be interested in attending a Saturday afternoon 1 hour Kizomba class, to orient beginners on what this beautiful dance is, over at Candela Dance Studio?
I haven't scheduled it over there yet because there's no sense in doing it if nobody is interested in attending the class. But I'm assuming I could get some space.
So that's it. If you don't know what Kizomba is then I'd suggest you look either on YouTube or or my other site, www.kizombadancer.com .
And trust me......it's not a hard dance to learn the basics. You won't learn any of the realy advanced stuff but you will be able to dance and enjoy basic Kizomba after just this class. From there, it's just a matter of looking at more YouTube videos and/or buying one of the instructional DVDs on the market (there's only 2 right now).
And another interesting thing about learning Kizomba is that several of the kizomba basics are very easily adaptable to bachata and salsa. Trying to exhibit any real individuality on the dance floor is very difficult, if not downright impossible, for all but the very best dancers. On the other hand, having some basic stylistic uniqueness can go a long way toward making your dances something that partners remember. Especially if you're a guy.
If you're interested in doing this, please call me at 010 5822 2277. Don't rely on me seeing a message here. I might not. Just give me a call. Or email me at wanderingsalsero@gmail.com .
Best regards,
Art Williams
